Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences was part of the Helsinki Design Week Local Design exhibition 6.-14.9.2014. Local Design, the main exhibition of the Helsinki Design Week anniversary year, spreads through the Abattoir yard to showcase the newest of Finnish design. Ready14 exhibition showcases best of design thesis works implemented in co-operation with other degree programmes and companies. Presenting interesting fresh concepts, products and materials by young designers.
The exhibition showcased also Biofore Concept Car wich is designed and built by Metropolia industrial design and automotive and mechanical engineering students in cooperation with UPM.
