Industrial design students developed new design concepts in Electria’s Virtuoso Robotic hand competition. Metropolia’s Electria (electronics research and development unit) has developed robotic hand that is excellently suited for the teaching of programming.
Miika Lehtinen’s concept Reache won the first prize (600€) and Jaakko Ranne’s Handy concept won the second prize (300€). Concept Androidi, designed by Matias Lehmusjärvi, won the third prize (200€).
