Industrial design student carrying out robot buses -project
Matias Lehmusjärvi (Industrial Design student, Metropolia) has been implementing the robot buses -project. The busses will start running in southern Helsinki 16th of August, 2016. More information about the project at Metropolia’s website.
Biofore Concept Car was awarded at a Major Forestry Fair
Finnish inventions have been awarded in Germany at the KWF-Tagung forestry fair 9-12.6.2016. Metropolia’s and UPM’s joint Biofore Concept Car received the KWF-Vision Award. Biofore car was praised as “a brilliant example of innovative use of wood” and was described as a pioneering development project.
Success in Vibrant Port Road competition
The industrial design student, Simo Lahtinen and a team won a Vibrant Port Road -innovation competition which was organized by city of Lahti, Lahti Energy and regional development of Lahti LADEC (29.1. -31.3.2016).
