ABL-Laatat & Metropolia Muotoilu Dimension – New Dimensions of a Ceramic Tile

 

A collaboration project with ABL-Laatat and Metropolia design students explores new ways of using ceramics. These visions created by the students are visible at Erottaja 2 part of Room with a View exhibition during Helsinki Design Week.

Dimension – New Dimensions of a Ceramic Tile

A shared learning process, an age-old material. In a joint project by design students and the company, ceramic tiles got a completely new, unforeseen form. Key phrases include ecology, new use of ceramics and design-based business.

Held at the palace at Erottaja 2, the Room with a View exhibition consists of about thirty rooms which each provide a different perspective on design work. The participants invited to exhibit represent various design fields, including clothing design, glass art, research, furniture design, graphic design and architecture.

Open 6th to 15th September from 11 am to 7 pm every day except Monday, 9 September.
