SMALL BUSINESS’ RESPONSIBILITY COMMUNICATION, CASE: VULTURE BRAND

The objective to this thesis is to study what is the most effective responsible communication. The viewing point is small textile and clothing businesses. As a research method I used data collection from current literature and web material. In addition, I did benchmarking, i.e. material analysis, and interviewed electronically two small businesses. The conclusion was a clear idea of what responsible communication is and how it should be executed.

At the end of the thesis I present a general responsibility communication manual. With this, I made a plan proposal to my sponsor company, Vulture Brand. For this upcoming company I designed an introductory magazine where Vulture Brand’s strong green values are clearly highlighted. In this thesis I will present only parts of the magazine because the final work will be owned by the mandator.

Responsibility communication is a very current topic and I believe its importance will grow stronger from year to year. With good responsibility communication, a company creates its competitive edge and is part of changing the line of business to a more positive direction.
